  **OUCH!!!**

  so i was cooking supper a few hours ago and i broke up a dried birds eye chili with my fingers into my pasta sauce.

  now supper is finished and i am relaxing and i get an itchy eye - i rub my eye... &*%$ ... it is 45 minutes later and my eye is still sore!.

  what stupid self inflicted injuries have you suffered and what can you recomend for a burning eye?.

  Rinse for 20 minutes under running water. Paramedics would do this.

  so far, i like needful things, secret window/hidden garden, and langoliers best.. guy at the bookstore said the stand was the best.. i just bought the shining and pet cemetary (book's in the other room.

  How do you confront someone abusing their daughter?

  seeing how child abuse has affected many people here, i am hoping for some advice.

  we have friends of our family that have it on good authority that a father is abusing his four year old daughter.

  he's always seemed rather creepy to me, which is a bit of the problem.

  Yes, the consensus on this board is good: go as a group to the mom and give her an ultimatum. Make her call on a cell phone right in front of all of you. If she refuses, tell her you will. She may need a safe house, as well. Find out about safe shelters around for abused women and children. Support her and reassure her that all of you are behind her in this and will do all you can to protect her if she will just be a mom and protect her child.

  What other yearbook/WT stories of demonism have you read and heard? These stories are told like they really happened.

  Oh, the woman is OK now because she kept calling out Jehovah's name and studied anyway. This all happened when she started studying. Satan didn't like it so he sent demons to harrass her. She went to all sorts of doctors and they couldn't figure out why her stomach was swelling so badly. After praying a lot with her study person, her stomach went back to normal. I wonder if she was pregnant.

  Whats a fun day out for you ?

  im trying to organize a fun day out for my husband and i. i know he would like a hot air ballon trip but im scared of heights so that out.

  also themed parks are out.

  Fun for a guy? Try going to an adult book/video shop together, eat out, watch porn that evening and make out. Don't forget the wine to get a little hammered.

  Also, I read where guys don't like to be active on fun days. Go to the beach (no long walks, no camping: too much work) to watch the sunset, eat picnic, and make out. Don't forget the beer but don't get caught

  Brother Just got Robbed by Three Guys with Knives

  my brother is 14 years old.

  he has been held up by three guys brandishing knives.

  he had to hand over what little valuables he had on his person.. i'm shaking my head here in absolute disbelief!!!

  That's terrible! I'm glad he's physically OK. He might not be OK emotionally for a while. He'll really need his family now.

  On the marrying just to get out of the country, California just made gay marriages legal so your chances are now doubled. (just a reason to laugh:).

  CO Visit: Why Such A Big Deal?

  i wasn't raised a jw, but my wife was and everytime the co makes a visit to our congregation for a week - we had to make sure nothing was going to interrupt our meeting attendance.
